The Indiana Council of Teachers of Mathematics is dedicated to the on-going professional development of its members. It is the ICTM’s desire to help in the continuing development of teachers, particularly where local funds are insufficient. Therefore, the ICTM has set aside up to $2000 in grants that can be used to assist in a professional development activity. Proposals must be postmarked by February 1 and July 1 each year.
The Indiana Council of Teachers of Mathematics will be awarding up to three $1,000 scholarships. These scholarships may be awarded annually to any college or university student in Indiana working towards a teaching certificate in a field that includes the teaching of mathematics in elementary, middle or high school. Individuals who have taught professionally are not eligible for these scholarships. Applications must be postmarked by May 15 each year. The scholarships will be awarded in late July each year. The applicants must attend a university or college in the school year immediately following the July award.
